Who built the Taj Mahal and why? The Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan wanted to build a gravesite for his favorite wife. After 11 years of building, the mausoleum was completed in 1643. It is a 42- acre complex with a value of US $ 827 million.
7 to 8 million people visit the Taj Mahal yearly. Are you the next one?

Machu Picchu, Peru

This site was so hidden that most people did not know about it until an American Student discovered it in 1911. Why? It was built on a mountain, 2430 meters above sea level.
