PIC Management is recruiting Culinary Interns for 4 and 5-star hotels and resorts across the United States. This paid internship is part of the J-1 Exchange Visitor Program and lasts 12 months.
Position Details
- Role: Culinary Intern / Cook
- Duration: 12 months
- Start dates: Rolling throughout the year
- Salary: $10-$14/hour + tips
- Accommodation: Provided or subsidized by the host hotel
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation across different kitchen stations (hot, cold, pastry)
- Learn and apply culinary techniques under the supervision of executive chefs
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP)
- Contribute to menu development and daily specials
- Work in a multicultural, fast-paced kitchen environment
Requirements
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a culinary or hospitality school
- English level: B1 minimum
- Minimum 6 months of relevant professional or internship experience
- Valid passport (minimum 18 months validity)
- Between 18 and 30 years old at program start
