Description

To start, you’ll be heavily involved in the building process  of the new store with the Berlin team, as well as the studio who designed space. Not to paint walls or demo the site – rather, you’ll be helping with the finishing touches, such as building IKEA furniture and setting up the store.

You’ll be working closely with the Berlin store manager, to expand the store’s product portfolio and manage the customer side of the business. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with the marketing and events teams to brainstorm event ideas and proposals for the store.

Responsibilities

Here are a few of the other things  we’ll count on you to do:

  • Keeping track of stock (using iZettle)
  • Actively promoting events locally and online
  • Maintaining monthly financial reports
  • Updating display cards and item descriptions
  • Handling office expenses, coffee, paper, etc.
  • Helping set up events by arranging food, drinks, etc.

The company produces guidebooks and online content to in an effort to guide, empower and inspire people to start their own businesses. the offices in Berlin and Lisbon double as physical stores showcasing their books, as well as indie magazines and gadgets produced by startups.

Profile required

Ideally, you can offer some (if not all) of these skills:

Fluency in English and German, Degree/Experience in Marketing and/or Sales. Excellent communication skills and organizational abilities. Self-driven personality with the capacity to work independently. Welcoming personality. Familiarity with trends in startup product development. Handiness and love for building things. Tasteful eye for design.

Internship agreement mandatory.  6 months internship mandatory. Available from March 2019.

Fee charged only once the internship is secured with the host company you previously chose. 385 euros for a 3 months internship, 15 euros/additional week
