Description

Interns are expected to take on real responsibilities, challenging workloads and are considered part of the team. As this is an unsalaried position, in return for full-time work, they receive a generous living package and a great experience – certainly a  very useful addition to any CV. Future career opportunities are often available and preference is given to applicants with proven and successful internship experience within the company.

Responsibilities

Customer Support

  • General Administrative & clerical duties, reception duties
  • Processing new enrolments & changes to students courses
  • Assisting with registration of new students on arrival
  • Answering students’ enquiries & other reception duties
  • Supporting Welfare Officer in following up on student welfare issues
  • Other general daily support to Customer Service Team

Social Activities Department:

  • Help and support Activities Manager with admin duties
  • Help to organise, promote and supervise weekday, evening and weekend social activities
  • Monitoring school social media platforms and generating positive social media content
  • Answering student enquiries and providing information about events  & activities outside school

Homestay Department

  • Answering student and home stay provider enquiries (confidence to speak on the phone required)
  • Help and support Accommodation Manager with admin duties
  • Assisting with homestay recruitment campaigns and activities
  • Visit new/existing Host Families and  daily support to Accommodation Manager

 Academic Department

  • Assist with registration & induction of new students
  • Assist with organisation of departure tests & distributions of departure reports & certificates
  • Weekly attendance and welfare checks for students missing classes
  • Preparation & distribution of weekly teacher documents such as class registers
  • Advising and assisting students with basic academic issues such as assigning new online classes, taking requests for class changes and so on
  • Other general daily support to the Academic tea

Profile required

Excellent English Language skills (B2 level minimum). Outgoing & Confident personality with friendly manner and good sense of humour. Good Communicator who enjoys meeting people. Flexible, energetic & flourishes in busy & varied work environment. Customer service focused. Multicultural experience/ awareness preferred

First Skype interview with PIC Management and presentation of vacancies. Confirm the vacancy with your school (internship agreement) and activate your application.
Fee charged only once the internship is secured with the host company you previously chose. 385 euros for a 3 months internship, 15 euros/additional week
