Despite the fact that this internship does not require a strong technical background, it is not accessible to all. Some skills are essential for your application to be selected.

For example, your presentation and speech should be neat. We must indeed be smiling and welcome customers as warmly as possible, no matter what day of the week or time of day. Clients, sometimes picky, must benefit from an adapted and personalized service. Your patience is also important. It is often said that a satisfied customer is a customer who returns: it is up to you to build customer loyalty to boost the sales of your store. Obviously, for all this, you must be able to speak in public. If shyness is your main character trait, the internship is surely not for you.

Even if the purpose of this course is to progress in English, you must already present good knowledge. Indeed, the contacts between the seller and his customers are daily.

Finally, if you really want to make the difference, having a prior knowledge of the products that the store sells can be decisive. You can put forward your personal and professional experiences to show it. If this is not the case, you can compensate by saying that you are curious for example.
